Monthly weather
Costa Rica enjoys a tropical climate with two main seasons:
Dry season (December to April): sunny and ideal for exploring the whole country, especially the Pacific and central coasts.
Green season (May to November): wetter, but nature is at its peak, the forests are lush and the prices are lower.
Temperatures vary little throughout the year, but the climate changes a lot between the humid Caribbean and the drier Pacific.
